This versatile pattern is for those of you who want a hat that does not totally wreck your hair style. It is written for quick knitting at 3sts/inch and can be made as fancy or as casual as you want. Try some great bulky weight yarn or combine several strands of different yarns that will give you the gauge. You can also stripe this hat or use some glitzy novelty yarn or fur on the edge.

Gauge: 3sts/inch
Yardage: 130 yards of bulky weight yarn or 130 yards each of several yarns that if you strand together will give you the gauge.
Needles: 16 inch circular and double pointed needles #10US or whatever will give you the gauge.
